Norton Commando Fastback 1968

Although introduced at the 1967 Earls Court Show in London the firstproduction Commandosdidn't appear on the market till 1968 making this machine avery rare early bike. This is a rare chance to purchase an unrestore, atching engine and frame numbers, nbsp;dry stored machine which hasspent almost all of its life in California. The chrome on the rims is in extraordinarycondition, testament to its dry storage. The engine turns over and kicks through with reasonablecompression.As far as i can tell the engine is inexternally good shape, o broken fins or casedamage to engine or gearbox. All numberstampings are clearly defined.
The bike was last on the road in 1986and is sold with a Bill of sale and an old California pink slip. I will endeavor to describe this bike asaccurately as possible, t will of course require fullrestoration/recommssioningThe fiberglass tank and seat are in poor shape as you would expect, idepanel, ank and seat are loosely mounted. Center stand is missing. The speedo and rev counterappear to be from a later bike, nd in poorcondition. If you have anyquestions then please ask before bidding.
