Description

This auction is for a 1975 Norton Commando Mk 3 Interstate – This motorcycle is in excellent order throughout as can be seen by the photos. The mileage on the bike is (as far as I am aware) a genuine 10,123 as of 03/16/2016.

This motorcycle has one or two modifications from original factory condition. It has a single Mikuni carb conversion which has been professionally completed and has the benefit of modified electric starter (Yes folks, his one actually starts without having to kick it over). It also has a Lucas electronic ignition system fitted and has an oil pressure gauge fitted adjacent to the clocks. Apart from that it is pretty much as it rolled off the production line in 1975.

I purchased the motorcycle along with its sister from a gentleman in North Carolina back in the fall of 2015 – He had owned both Norton’s for many years and had quite obviously loved and cherished them. My intention was to export the motorcycle to England with several others in my collection but I decided to sell this beauty in order to fund another project.

There is a clear title with the motorcycle and I will of course assist any prospective buyer with shipping arrangements if this is required. I would welcome anybody to come and view & test the bike; it’s located in South West Florida. Please contact me via Ebay if you wish to see it. I have a ton of old receipts for parts and work carried out (the previous owner gave these to me).

Please don’t bid on this motorcycle if you’re not willing to purchase it; that’s just not fair on me or others who may be interested. I’m not interested in taking your canoe, railer, ifle or sister in trade for this motorcycle (well maybe your sister if she doesn’t eat too much) so please don’t ask.

I’m starting the bidding at $10,500 which is my lowest possible price for this collectible and appreciating piece of engineering. I will not be accepting any lower offers so again please don’t ask.

If you require any more photos or information please don't hesitate to ask.
