For auction here is a Triton kit. Theres no documents but both engine and frame numbers are clear as a bell. From what I can make out. the kit is basically made up of a 1959 Triumph pre unit 5T Spedtwin engine. big bearing motor which has apparently been rebuilt and is sporting a BTH mag. The ticket on the top reads E3134 cams which are the hot bonneville cams. 9 to 1 pistons re-bored and built by someone called David North ? (who). I was told that it had a 650 top end. but can not verify this. so lets assume its a normal 500. I haven. been in it so can. say for sure. and I. not going in to check. The frame is a wide line feather bed bolt up and the numbers indicate its from a 1955 model 88 Dominator. Now I understand that this bolt up type of frame is extremely rare as it lasted only for one or two seasons at best. Theres the usual kit to go with it. i. e road holder forks. a Triumph gearbox. nice alloy wheels which look to have been rebuilt. The front has a twin leading shoe brake.  Theres a manx rear plastic type mudguard and various odds and ends that go towards making a Triton up. It is not complete. but it represents the main components and what is there all appears to me to be very nice kit.  Look at the pictures and you. l also see the oil tank tool box. clip ons. shocks. and so on. Theres a single amal monblock carb which looks right and a pair of MK2 concentrics so I assume the idea was to convert it somehow ?.  I apologise in advance for the poor photos taken in failing light. Viewing is welcome. 01246 411977 for an appointment. Other projects available as well. Collection is preferred. but I can arrange for delivery within the mainland UK by courier for £100. Finally. if you bid you buy. this is a project and what you see is what you get there is nothing hidden and nothing else included in this auction.
