1975 Norton 850 Mk3 Commando - Electric Start

Excellent running 1975 Norton 580 Commando with electric start that works! DOES NOT LEAK OIL. NEEDS NOTHING. starts first kick or at the push of a button. ready to ride. runs and drives fantastic (also has the boyer electronic ignition) Although I don't have the paper trail to confirm this. I was told this was MN bike its whole life. purchased new in MN and that the miles are original - Engine. Gearbox and Frame numbers match. I'd say the overall cosmetic condition is a 8/10. the original paint is decent with no dents or or rust on the frame or metal. the chrome and seat are good but there are a few nicks and scratches in the paint here and there but again no dents. about what you would expect for a bike that is 39 years old. Chrome and aluminum covers are good and would polish up nicely. The original stickers are in place. runs. shifts. stops. and drives excellent. just like a Norton 850 should with a strong clutch. The top-end was rebuilt at 11. 00 miles (by a reputable Norton mechanic) and a general tuneup including servicing the brakes. drive train isolastics. front fork seals. etc was done at that time. Includes tool kit. owners manual and some service records. I've had a few Nortons over the years. and I would say mechanically this one is well sorted out. and the cosmetic condition is better than average. I also have the original airbox that can be included in the sale if the buyer wants it. Being sold as is.
