For sale is my fully restored 1974 Norton Commando cafe racer. This bike is in PERFECT condition and was recently built and restored by 59 Cafe Customs. a well recognized motorcycle shop that specializes in vintage Norton and Triumph builds. The project was completed this summer and I am selling it now because my wife and I recently had a baby and I want to stay in one piece! :) This one-of-a-kind motorcycle is absolutely beautiful. you won't find a vintage cafe racer in better condition. I purchased the bike from a 90 year old man who purchased it in 1976 and owned it ever since. Below is list of all the modifications that were recently made to the bike. Custom aluminum Manx gas tank hammered by hand from a company in the UK . very different than the cheap ones you can buy from India). Custom aluminum Manx seat pan hammered by hand from the same company in the UK. Custom aluminum Manx oil tank with Monza lid assembly fabricated in the USA (accessible without removing seat). Custom chromed swept-back exhaust headers (fabricated in the UK by a specialty Norton shop). Chrome Norton rear set foot controls. 35mm clip on handlebars. Velocity stacks. Custom stitched genuine leather seat. Frame modifications- shortened rear loop to give more of a cafe racer look. Polished aluminum gauges . New electronics. wiring. and battery. The motorcycle rides and starts extremely well. The only thing that needs replacement is the speedometer drive unit so I was going to replace it in the spring. They can be purchased for about $75 on the internet. Buyer will need to pay for and arrange shipment with a shipping company. but I will be happy to work with them to make it an easy process. Please let me know if you have any questions about the bike! Thank you for your interest!
