Norton ES2 1950 500cc Classic English Motorcycle / Future Investment

Genuine 1950 Norton ES2 500cc British Single in great condition. all numbers matching verification.  This is the rare plunger model with "Roadholder" forks.  The bike was restored 8 years ago. mechanically excellent and surprisingly comfortable. I rode it back from Cornwall 6 weeks ago and she didn't miss a beat. Runs on unleaded fuel as additive added to tank. Lots of history and mostly original and does show signs of age but in a good way. Original tank shinny. worn. some chrome rubbed off behind knee rest's on left hand side which just add character.  Seat old and worn but fits bum great. Wheels great condition and rebuilt.  Electrics are 6v and work fine. Just fitted brand new battery but the cables could do with being tidied up.  Magneto and dynamo rebuilt and a modern regulator located in tool box. Paintwork could do with touching up in a few places if you wanted it to be perfect but still in amazing condition for a bike of nearly 70 years. 10 months MOT with 5 months road licence. (Licence and MOT not required for a bike of this age as classed as an historic vehicle).   Only ridden in dry good weather. starts easily and a joy to ride.  Sounds amazing like a true British single 500. A real head turner and gets loads of attention whenever I take her outI took her on the "Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" in September through London and was perfect even in London traffic and an amazing day. Currently British motorcycles are truly undervalued and these bikes will only increase in value. Invest in a true original British classic bike you can enjoy. tinker with and get to ride.
