Norton Commando 850 Original red paintwork. Only 3200 miles on odometer. Mint.

This was a  barn find. stored under cover ( out of the sun) since 1985. It had only done 3185 miles before the thread in the right hand exhaust stripped and caused it to be parked. Has had a mild freshen up not restored left as close to original with the following exceptions. The rims and spokes had to be replaced along with the rubber. The forks and handlebars were replaced because of too much rust. The original seat had been eaten by mice and has been replaced with a Wassle reproduction. The head has had new threaded inserts professionally welded into the exhausts ports.  This bike starts and runs extremely well. . Would love to keep but have too many projects and this one has to be sold.  Sold with bill of sale and current registration.  Buyer responsible to arrange pick up and or shipping.  Sold with no warranty.  Deposit of $500. 00 at end of auction.  Final payment due within 7 days of auction end.
