Matchless G80C

1948 Matchless G80C 500 cc. Before I start just want to say I am not a matchless expert. I have talked to people and had my books out.  Both frame and engine were manufactured in 1948 engine no :-48/G80 647C(competition) frame no 24321(Have Matchless owners club dating cert. to prove)A really neat 500 matchy not been on road for couple of years but with a bit or persuasion she fired up and sounded nice. Has been converted to  12 volts and fitted Japanese carb. Although manufactured in 1948  she was registered for the road in 2009. Fitted with lights etc and issued non-transferable number.  The competition engine is also fitted with a bronze cylinder head. I can't find any info on this. could be rare?. I certainly haven't seen one. I am offering it for sale at ?4999. But open to serious offers.
