MOTOBECANE MOBYLETTE X1 1973 MOPED

For sale is my lovely wee Motobecane X1 Mobylette. It was registered in November 1973 and is an M reg. It is in overall good condition for its age. The only two known faults are that the rear tyre is needing replaced as it has got a cut in the wall. The throttle control also needs a grip fixed to it. It works fine as is but it really does need a grip on it to make it look smarter. It has had three former keepers and the V5 which is present is in my name and address. The last tax disc which is shown. is for 1979. There is good compression in the cycliner but I have not been able to start the bike. Im sure with a wee fettle this would fire up nicely. It also has its original tool bag on the seat. These are very rare in this condition and I am in no desperate rush to sell so no offers please. I have other projects on the go and this little gem would be better up and running for the summer. Those that know. know the handlebars fold down and the seat lowers easily to stow away in the boot of your car or camper.
