JAWA 350cc Twin Sport - running winter project

Here we have a Jawa 350cc two stroke motorbike which was in an old croft house along with a second motorbike. a VX800 which is also for sale (see my other listing). I was planning to do both the bikes up and sell but i need the space to get on with the house and don't really have time. I had a good look at the bike today and managed to get it running which considering its been off the road since 2004 makes me think its mechanically sound. I have the V5 for it in my name. It has no tax or MOT so will need collecting with a van or trailer. The chrome work is in good order and after a good clean and polish i think the bike will come up nice. The paint work is ok. If you want a day to day runner then the paint is fine but for a restoration project then a paint job would be a bonus. As i say its running and from what i can see it needs a new battery. a new fuel pipe from the tank to the carb as weeping at the joints. I would also say it will be worth giving the carb a good clean and the points could do with setting. All fine adjustments really and nothing major and generally the bike is in good condition for the year. Not a classic quite yet but i do think they soon will be. I like the style of the bike (much more than at the time they first came out). I need the space and it has to go asap so please read the listing properly and you will not be disappointed when you collect. You bid to buy so no tyre kickers.
