AJS 500 DESERT SLED PROJECT

1949 500 desert sled. first year of the swing arm frame. he motor is stuck from sitting god knows how long. dont have the time for this one so it can be a neat project for someone else. his is a rare piece of kit and worth fixing up. I suspect this may have been used more for trials type riding as the gearing is tall. he seat un sprung and a clever beefed up footpeg arrangement. hat you see is what you get its a crusty old thing but bags of charm and very much a period piece. bviously no title. illl of sale if needed. have put what I tthink is a very friendly reserve on it as these bikes are getting harder to find. if you need more info you can call me 909 560 2804 Howie
