This is a 1999 Excelsior-Henderson Super X motorcycle. Only about 1. 50 of these were built over a three year period. before the company went out of business. This particular bike is #300. number one. of the first 20 produced to go on the road to shows for promotional test rides to draw initial sales. The first twenty were named by the employees at the factory and the names were written on top of the frames under the fuel tank. This one was named CAPN CRUNCH as you can see in the picture. This bike traveled the country with the sales crews to promote the brand. When the tour was over this bike was sold to one of the top salesmen in the crew. Jerry Hamm. Jerry has owned it ever since and is selling it now. along with extra parts and numerous promotional items he had kept from those early days. The bike is in great shape with very low miles (7. 40). It shows slight wear on the seat and has a couple of minor nicks in the paint with no dents or dings. It runs strong and has the factory performance exhaust so it is not quiet by any means. Every thing works well with no issues. Extra body parts come with it. Three front fenders. two rear fenders and one tank. Also included is a brand new. still in the box windshield with mounting hardware and a backrest. A lighted Excelsior-Henderson sign measuring 6 feet 9 inches long and 3 feet 2 inches tall will come with it as well as three long sleeve button up shirts (size XL) and two T-shirts (also XL). In the pictures you will see a black binder with stickers and pens. The binder holds an Excelsior-Henderson parts catalog and actual engineers notes for this very bike. taken while they were preparing it to go out on the show circuit. It's quite a package for some one who is a fan or collector of these bikes. Thanks and good luck!
