Hand built VW 1300 Trike Built in 2003

The time has come to regrettably part with my pride and joy. The trike was constructed in Leicestershire by a couple of enthusiasts called Wilco and Mcgurk.

Since I acquired the trike. I have had quite a lot done to it to keep it in pristine condition for the road. Here`s the list: Completely re-wired. Two new headlights. new windscreen. new speedo cable. new rear brakes cable. new battery. new rear view mirrors. new passenger seat at rear. three new tyres. new push rod tubes and seals. new carburettor. new air filter. complete new exhaust system. (stainless) complete engine overhaul by Bugloft of Suffolk. new brake cylinders on both rear wheels

I could go on. but suffice to say I have had a lot of fun with the trike. she runs like a dream. is air cooled and not too thirsty for a 1300cc. Sounds great too!!

The trike has a talking alarm. which reminds you to set the alarm when you remove the ignition key. and also warns people who touch the machine. to "Stop that. this machine is alarmed". The alarm comes with a remote. and as long as the trike is not in gear. it can be started from a good distance away. without inserting the ignition key.   All in all. whoever purchases this trike will get a bargain. By the way. it has reverse gear of course!!
