Description

Here we have what I believe is an MV Agusta 150 T  (Tourismo). made in 1954. I do not have a dating certificate or other documents to substantiate this ( OR indeed any documents). This is one of the Spanish built MV. . hence instead of "Agusta" on the crankcases there is "Avello". who were the Spanish manufacturers. M`V`s were built under licence from 1950 until 1970 in Spain Post 1955 the crankcases were stamped "Agusta". The therefore very rare 150. was only built in 1954 to 1955.  Apart from that it does appear to be identical  including the dellorto Carb.

I have imported the bike personally. but dont have the time to restore it. I think it deserves a carefull owner since they do look a cracking little bike when restored. The bike has a Nova certificate showing no VAT liability due to import.

Study the pictures well. or better still. come and view the bike. If you want further pictures. or are not sure of something please ask. But it is understood the pictures form part of the description. But please remember. you are looking at a 60 + year old motorcycle!

I am not a mechanic ( NOR AN MV EXPERT!) and have made no attempt to get the motor running. It does turn over smoothly via kickstart. The 3 gears also seem to snick into place. whilst rear wheel is turned.

THIS BIKE HAS BEEN  STORED since 1971 when the tax expired. IN SPITE OF THAT THE ENGINE TURNS OVER. THE GUY I BOUGHT THIS OFF TOLD ME THAT WHEN IT WAS PARKED UP IT WAS IN RUNNING ORDER.

VIRTUALLY COMPLETE APART FROM THE REAR AND FRONT LIGHT LENS. ETROL TAP AND THE SPEEDO.  BATTERY PROBABLY DEAD! AS PER PHOTO THE TOP FORK YOKE AND FRICTION DAMPER KNOB ARE DAMAGED. AND THE PETROL TANK HAS A SMALL DENT THE INSIDE IS NOT TOO RUSTY. VIABLE RESTORATION.

THE TINWARE AND FRAME IS VERY SOUND AND SOLID FOR THE AGE  AND VIABLE FOR RESTORATION. NOT LIKE JAPANESE RUST WHERE THE MUDGUARD DISINTEGRATES THE WORST PART ARE FRONT SPOKES AND WHEEL RIM WHICH WOULD DEF NEED REPLACING.

I can deliver in the UK subject to 60p per return miles. ie 120 quid for 100 miles from ST8.

This bike is advertised elsewhere. so I reserve the right to pull the auction if sold.

This is an auction and the final price is final. no tyre kicking and bartering when collected/delivered. This will end in no sale and negative feedback posted.
