1998 ATK 605 DS Dual Sport. Electric Start. Has Not Been Ridden in About Eight Years. The Mechanical Condition of This Bike is Excellent. The Condition of The Paint. Decals and Upholstery is Very Good. The Pictures Tell The Story. I Didn't Even Wash it Before I Took The Pictures. I Just Wiped Off Some of The Dust And Started Shooting. I Installed a New Battery. Checked The Oil and Inspected the Float Bowl. it Was so Clean I Had to Take A Picture Of It! I Cleaned Out The Fuel Tank and Put in a Gallon of Non Ethanol Premium and it Fired Right Up! This Bike Was Put in Storage Before They Jammed Ethanol Down Our Throats. So It Doesn't Have Any of The Corrosion Problems Associated With Storing Untreated Gasoline. This Bike is Not a Trailer Queen. I Have Dumped it a Few Times But No Wrecks. The Adhesive on The Fuel Tank Decals Has Come Loose in a Few Places. The Seat Has a Few Tears. The Front Tire is The Original. The Rear Tire Has Been Replaced. The First Owner Told Me That he Had To Replace The Speedometer When it Had About 240 Miles on It. so The Actual Mileage is About 860.
