Puch Maxi K 1979 Classic Vintage Moped AMAZING BARN FIND

For sale is a Barn Find 1979 Puch Maxi K Moped in great original condition. It also runs well. The lowest mileage I've ever seen. 2717 miles from new. I think you will struggle to find a better one. it could be made mint with a little effort. there cant be many left like this.

I would love to keep it but I have to admit I have tooo many projects and I have to clear some space as I can't move in the garage!

I have the V5 in my name and the last tax disc is fitted to the bike - last on the road in 1985! Dry stored ever since. No MOT or Tax and currently in a SORN

It is the kick start model. I have put in some fresh petrol. a couple of kicks to start and it went beautifully. Chain and running gear in good condition also. Tyres good and they don't go flat. Engine purrs. auto clutch smooth. engine and mechanics feel like new. All cables / brakes perfect.

Chrome is great. from mudguard. wheels and exhaust. there are some minor marks. but nothing of any concern. 2 things to mention (1) The rear light lens is missing. I have seen loads of these on ebay. (2) The headlight switch has a crack in it. but it functions fine.

The frame has some very minor surface rust spots.  located on the 'step through' area. see photos. It's nothing bad at all. just trying to be honest.

It could be a great bike for shows. or just to use. perhaps a shop window display or period museum piece in the future.
