2002 Simson Star 80, very rare collectible only 15Km, East German scooter

Thinning out my collection to fund another project. This bike is a Simson Star 80. It was stored for 13 years until I purchased it. it had never had gas or a battery in it. Simson made bikes. in their factory in Suhl East Germany plant since the 50's over a hundred years of production. This bike was imported for show purposes to try to gain interest of starting dealers in the United States. No paperwork is available. The bike is an 80cc. 4 speed manual clutch with kick start. It has a new battery and is in excellent condition. Premixed gas for reliability. The bike runs great with a top speed of over 45 Mph. this is the same reliable engine that Simson used for decades in their scooters. All lights and electrical work as they should. This bike is an absolute blast to drive and gets constant attention!!! I do have original brochures. sales pamphlets and parts catalogs that will be included in the auction. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping expenses. I will help out however I can. $250 deposit due immediately after auction ends. Bike is as is with no paperwork.
