1975 CZ 400 FALTA REPLICA99% Original. this bike was a barn find rescue. Appears to be a very low time bike. Possibly the original owner scared himself on and just quit riding. Nothing about the bike suggests a injury retirement although the bike does carry the evidence of being ridden at least a few times. Original bars and levers. steel fenders and steel side number plates. Paint appears totally original and with very little wear. We got this bike a few years ago and I replaced the fuel lines. made a new throttle cable. cleaned the carb and started it. Then rebuilt the air shocks and put on the plastic front number plate. Has the original Barum tires front and rear and the rubber tip is still on the shift lever. There are a couple of dents in the pipe but that is about it. Could be one of the last all or mostly original Faltas in existence. These bikes were one of the top MX weapons to have in the mid-seventies. They ruled the tracks in the twilight of the pre-Japanese invasion days. Very raceable today it would be an excellent preservation piece in anyone's collection. CA about 20 minutes south of San Francisco. Ownership rights on this bike are clean and clear to the best of my knowledge but it is sold with a Bill of Sale only. There is no odometer and thus the mileage stated is incorrect.
