Ural / Cossack / Soviet Knight / Motorcycle Combination

Ural M8- 103 Motorcycle Combination. 1995. V5C in my name. registered as a M/C Combination. currently sorned. The rear crankshaft oil seal developed a leak. I removed the engine and flywheel and the repair stopped there. I eventually dismantled the complete machine to dry store it. It is loosely assembled for this sale. All the chrome has been protected with grease. I have cleaned a few areas up and it would appear to be in good condition. except for the headlamp nacelle. The engine is free turning and complete. the clutch however is only loosely assembled. All four gears are present and select. There is no reverse gear fitted to this gearbox. Missing parts: No voltage regulator. one fork stanchion top nut missing. no rear light lens on motorcycle or sidecar. The exhaust system is in poor condition. the balance pipe has rotted at the welded joints. the silencers have been shortened. It would be possible to remove the balance pipe and weld over the joint. the header pipes are sound. The wiring loom is intact. the original switches and controls are present. The fork stanchions are clean. the rear suspension units have damping and appear good. Swinging arm bushes good. sidecar brake and suspension good. A replacement Hagon unit has been fitted to the Velorex sidecar in the dim and distant past. The fuel tank is clean inside and rust free. The centre and side stand is included. Paint on the frame is poor in places and the seat cover has several patched repairs. the steel base is good. Obviously no battery. the machine is mostly complete. but will require a strip and rebuild to recommission. There is an owners manual. The sidecar body is good. the seat is good but the cover is poor. The wind screen has at sometime been replaced with plywood. Please study the photos. or come and have a look. Buyer collects. you will need a van or trailer. It will not take too much effort to dismantle. Cash on collection please. or money transfer at auction end. Thank You.
