This bike is a fine example of the Rickman line of race bikes from the 60's and 70's. This one has been garage kept and vintage raced in the early 2000's. I recieved the bike in a package purchase of several Montesas from a long time local collector. The gentleman has moved from MX to Observed Trials. The Motoplat ignition has been replaced with a points type. The original Amal carb has been replaced with a Mikuni Flat Slide. The engine and transmission have just been freshened-up with less than an hour of run time. The Ricman frames are well respected for their great handling and light weight nickel plated chrome-moly frame. The nickel plating is in very good shape. No rust. dents or cracks. The bodywork is all original factory red paint with only minor wear marks and scratches. If you are looking for a great vintage motocross bike either for racing or displaying this bike deserves a second look. As this is a factory built race bike. there is NO TITLE.
