1973 CZ 250 MX ---TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION---$1. 00 STARTING BID---BIKE WILL SELL--This is one of my budget racers I've decided to let go at no reserve. This is a good runner with plenty of power and good suspension. Not a perfect bike by any means. but for what it's going to sell for here I think the new owner will be very pleased. This is a good. inexpensive vintage race bike. CZ's are some of the best vintage MX bikes out there. When you factor in their good power. great handling. ease of servicing. excellent parts availability. and most importantly their bullet proof durability----CZ's are hard to beat. Correct numbers frame & engine. Mikuni carb conversion for ease of servicing and jetting. Excellent tires are basically new. Nice straight original CZ bars/levers. Original 2-piece CZ downpipe in good condition. Works Performance aluminum finned shocks. Akront rims with original magnesium CZ wheels/brakes. Has a Falta CZ aluminum tank with leather strap. New reproduction CZ rear fender. Excellent original air box. Original seat cover & foam (foam is weak but usable). Preston Petty Mudder front fender. ONLY ISSUES I can find are: Interior core of silencer is loose and there is no sound deadening/packing inside. Good sized ding in left side of aluminum coffin tank cleverly disguised by strategically placed stickers (see photos of left side of tank). Original seat has some very minor tears. Ding in bottom of pipe. Front Akront rim has had numerous weld repairs---very ugly but welds do seem to be holding with no re-cracking noticed. Hubs and brakes are good with no cracks. Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong. Bike has been sitting for a while and should have a complete RACE PREP by you prior to riding or racing it. Please look at photos and ask questions USE PHOTO ZOOM FEATURE. This is your best way to determine it's condition so PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AND ASK QUESTIONS if unclear about anything.
