1962 Sears Puch Compact Scooter Rare Vintage Antique Matching Numbers

Matching numbers clearly marked on frame and motorsee pic's 4 and 5 .

Tittle in hand .

I have titled it as a .. 1962 .. 50cc .

However after further research it is probably a 60cc and may be a 1961 ..

2 stroke mix gas according to manual .

This bike is very complete and very little rust making it extremely rare .

Hasoriginal Puch rubber on kick start foot brake floor board and stopper under frame / swing arm area

It comes with original complete and detailed owners rebuild manual and a few other paper items .

Original gas tank is exposed steel and can easily rust . Needs Attention ASAP .

I have not rode it because of tires but i have changed the gear oil. Brakes are working . Also Reworked origanal and stamped 1954 Bing carb now working very good.

Put gas flow to the carb andit will start right up .

I have replaced the kick spring with new one from Motor West inc.

Motor WestAlso Has A Replacement Cluch . I have engaged gear and the tire will spin in both high and low.

How good is the cluch ?

I do not know but for $45 i would replace it . Between ebay and motor west I think you can get any partyou may need for it.

Clean andpolish bike general tlc.

Tires are 1962 and way past dew . needs new tires . size 3.00-12 . the oldremains are inflated .

Engine starts right up .

Original gas tank is exposed steel and can easily rust needs attention asap .

I think it's weight is 125 lbs. plus shipping crate ... gas tank has been aired out for shipping .

I will build a crate for it . We will have to have open phone communication at time of shipping for accurate payment by size and weight at time of hand off .
