1972 OSSA Stilleto 250 rare VMX Vintage Motocross

Up for auction is a 1972? Stiletto 250. The bike does run. It sounded pretty good but very loud. I had a small test tank that I started and ran the bike with. I had it running for a few minutes. It sat and idles well. It does shift in and out of gear. The clutch pull is nice and smooth as is the throttle. It does have a new throttle and cable. The fiberglass is in pretty good conditionthe fiberglassdoes have a lot of spider cracks. I don’t see any leaks in the tank but I would seal it before putting any fuel in it. I purchased the bike as a project that was never finished. The motor was out and all the body work was off. So I put it back together as you see it now. It would be a great bike to restore. Although I would make small improvements to it and leave it as is. I don’t think it would take much to make it a rider but you never really know.The motor and frame numbers match 322201. The seat needs new foam and a seat cover. The pipe is pretty rough it has been patched reinforced with extra metal and bent. I purchased it for the bike because it was missing when I bought it. I have the rear slip in baffle. Included are a extra rear sprocket original tool bag with tools and a additional cylinder. Please look at my pictures as they are part of my description.
