1972 OSSA 250 MAR (Mick Andrews Replica), All Original. Looks and runs great, tarts on 2nd kick

Restored a year ago with only light wear. One of the "Mick Andrews Replica" side cover decals is worn a bit. Some superficial stress cracking on the outside of the fuel tank (common), ut no leaks or discoloration. Tank is interior coated.
A a great example ofone of the most beautiful trials machines ever made. In the early 70s, Spanishmotorcycle maker OSSA hired British trials ace Mick Andrews to help them design theultimate trials machine. The "Mick Andrews Replica" was the result. These featherweight (210 lbs) competition machines have high ground clearance, torquey 244cc piston port 2-stroke singlecylinder engine.Andrews won the 1971 and 1972 European Trials Championship, lus the Scottish Six Days Trial three consecutive years between 1970 and 1972 for the Ossa factory.
Correct 26mm IRZ carb.Built in December '72according toframe decal onthe headstock, ndchassis number. The sale includes a service manual, ront brake pads, nd headlight bulb. There is a title but year and model listed are inaccurate (says '75 plonker).Can betechnicallystreet legal(has front and rear lights).
