• 1952 Ariel VHA 500cc This listing is for the sale of a restored Ariel motorcycle. 1952 brought a new model to the Ariel product line. It was the all-alloy road single typed the VHA (often referred to as the famous Red Hunter). The motorcycle has been completely rebuilt mechanically and then beautifully finished in a correct Wedgwood blue paint. This paint scheme was used by British manufacturers to commemorate the Queen’s coronation of that year. You will notice it is shown on the Ariel dating certificate as the original paint color from the factory. The engine and matching frame numbers are also shown on the certificate. This particular motorcycle has been beautifully restored by Tim Bardsley of Ontario, anada (certainly one of the best restorers....especially with Ariel’s). The motorcycle was started for a mechanical check only and has not been ridden following the comprehensive rebuild and restoration. It has been kept in a private collection and in a climate controlled environment. If you plan to ride the motorcycle, ou will be pleased with it’s performance and handling. It’s a beautiful example and belongs in a collection of fine motorcycles. Of course, he motorcycle has a clear title. Reserve price is set at $10199.99.

If you buy one of these outstanding, estored motorcycles and intend to ride it, e recommend that you carefully service the motorcycle (or have this done by a professional) to prepare it for the road. Things such as tires may be New Old Stock, ore than 25 years old and as such are quite valuable, ut, otentially not roadworthy. Thank you for your understanding.
