This is an absolutely inglorious “gorgeous” collector’s bike, nd a guaranteed head turner, herever she goes.Once she was parked next to my friend’s 1957 Ford Thunderbird at a caf?. My dear friend was explaining his teenage son, ow magnificent and valuable his car was, hen an older gentlemen walked over to our table, nd said “That 1956 T-bird is a nice car, ut that rusty-old motorcycle is the one that really shines.”
Soon after the incident, hat 1956 T-bird was sold (way below the amount he invested in it). My friend passed away, ut my Mystery old-rusty Military Style Motorcycle is still draws a crowd. I rode to Death Valley twice on this bike. I would not hesitate to ride her from Los Angeles to New York (in the summer time).
This is a Hungarian made motorcycle that was imported and sold in the United States as a White Super Sport (by Jack White). Engine: Single cylinder 250 cc 2-stroke with dual exhaust. There were not many sold, nd very few survived. This is perhaps the only one in this trim. Not many of us like war, ut somehow appreciate war memorabilia and even a mystery or a fake memorabilia (this bike was made way after WWII ended) . The bike was featured in a prestigious Hungarian Old Timer Magazine, he VETERAN AUTO ES MOTOR in 2008/7 on her first historic trip to Death Valley (copy of the magazine is available, nd will go with the bike).
