1965 Matchless 500 cc G80CS R Police special. One of Twenty built to special order for the Rhodesian High Commission for their Police Force. This bike was one of the last bikes produced by AJS/ Matchless in England. It is a complete ground up restoration by International Classic Motorcycles, xperts in this type of restoration work. It has matching numbers and is 99% original parts. The order called for an easy starting bike, ersatile for road and outback riding. Based on the G80CS frame and Matchless 500cc engine it provided a easily handling motorcycle. After years of service it was sold in South Africa,then purchased by a person who moved to Canada bringing the bike with him. The bike has run in miles on it only and is ready for both riding and show. Bike can be crated for transport CAD$16500
