When you like to know how I can offer this bike with no reserve and free shipping, lease read the explanation below.A little history about the make;

The Russian IZH factory "Izhevsky mekhanichesky zavod" = "Izhevsky mechanical factory"(ÈÆin Russian language) was founded in 1807 by Decree of Tsar Alexander I and is still in existence today, roducing weapons (from knives, uns, azookas to the well know Kalashnikov AK47 machinegun), ut also tools, ars, otorcycles and industrial machines.

To give an idea about the size of this manufacturer already back in the days: during WW2 IZH produced 11 million guns, gainst 10 million guns produced by Nazi Germany in this same period.

Going back to the 1920's, he centrally-controlled Soviet Union motorcycle construction authority had decided to produce a copy of the German DKW luxury 300 motorcycle model. This L300 model was manufactured in the Promet works in Leningrad under a DKW license agreement.

It was because of thisearly Soviet interest in the reliability of the DKW two-stroke engines, hat after the end of the second world war, he Soviets grabbed the opportunity todisassemblethe DKW factory in Zschopau, axony* (which part of Germany became after WW2, n 1945, art of the Soviet Union) in order to re-assemble this facility and re-start the production of the pre-war DKW NZ-350 model at the IMZ factory on the Ural river.

IZH is the largest producer of motorcycles of the USSR and the second in the world after Japan into the 1990's, eaning that this Russian brand is one of the most important in the world in terms of production with more than 11,000,000 motorcycles produced between 1927 and 1990, .which fact is totally unknown in the West!

The latter 350 model was produced until early 1948 and by then replaced by the 350C model, hich had a telescopic front-fork. IMZ motorcycles were until the mid 1970's only produced for the Soviet home market and after that in very small number exported to mainly communist, ut also some European countries. Because of this reason especially these early/first models are hardly ever on the market and therefore Ultra rare in the western world.

This early IMZ-350 starts instantly and runs ok and has been in a private motorcycle collection for a long time without being used even once.

For this reason the bike needs to be completely checked-through in case you want to bring it back on the road again.

The odometer reading is 38388 km (= approx. 23900 mile) only have no history with the bike to confirm whether this is correct (or not).

This bike was acquired from a USSR military surplus place right after the 'Wall' came down in 1989 and both the Russian made tires that are on are still like new.

In the pictures you'll find an image in which the DKW engines are compared with the IZH ones and also a image of the original 1939 DKW NZ350-model* (* which is the bike that actually was copied by the Soviets and then re-named to 'IZH-350').

Another nice thing about this bike is that eventual parts for this model can be obtained from a couple of online IZH parts-specialists that I've found (against decent money).

This machine has never been road-registered and comes with an official European certificate of origin which states the make, odel, ear, isplacement, eight etc. and an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.-On this listing I’moffering a special (fully sealed) motorcycle crate, areful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense,meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, here you are responsible for all charges at your end, ike ISF filing, ntry fees, ort-handling, ventually broker fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, lease ask before you place a bid.
Furthermore, hen you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, r want to recieve more information about this item, ust let me know.
I accept PayPal payments.-Additional information to this listing;
I only offer shipping by sea, here of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country. Like can be read in the link,this antique bikeis because of its age and displacement exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations;https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use

The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fullyinsured for eventual damage/loss.

In previous listings I've received many times the same question; "how are you able to offer a motorcycle without any reserve and free shipping??"Where also a few times has been suggested;„Is this a scam??"It is always a kind of sad experience whenever hearing that my best intentions are reason for any negative opinions or thoughts.

Thus about how this is possible, .basically very simple;

I am a classic motorcycle dealer since the year 1979 and over the last three decades my main business Investment-Bikes has made nice and rare motorcycles available to customers all over the world, or which activity I have over the years only used one single shipping-company* (*that now has more than 80 years of experience).

For reason that I'm having shipments on a constant/weekly base, buy at the beginning of each year a big amount of shipping-volume against a huge discount (which enables me to ship at Very low cost but on the same go have high quality shipments).

When counting to this that by experience I’ve learned that a serious bike will always attract a serious customer, hich person is also willing to pay a fairly correct price, hen this is how I’m able to make such offers, ake money for a living and have a satisfied customer.

Before listing a bike with no-reserve and free shipping, of course always keep in mind that on a (for me) unfortunate day I can loose a little money on it, ut then of course that’s just life (and on the other hand the advantage for the buyer!)

I always pack bikes myself, nly use certified crates plus new packing-materials anddeliver the crated machines in personat the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company (see images),will of course inform you about the complete process of shipping from the beginning on and send you pictures of the process of packing & actual delivery at the port as soon as I'm done.
