1957 Gilera 175S Overhead valve 4 stroke. 4 speed. The engine installed is model year correct 150SS Gilera engine, ut not original. External appearance is identical. This is a very nice rideable classic bike in good running and working condition. Brand new Radaelli chrome rims with correct new zinc plated spokes and nipples were installed by previous owner about five years ago, long with tires and tubes. Complete new exhaust system was also installed at that time by its very knowledgable former owner. New lithium ion battery, nstalled by me two years ago. Seat is correct and looks very new. Bike has had continuous improvement preformed by a noted Southern California Gilera restorer including remanufactured forks, ome modern fasteners replaced with correct ones, ew points, inor tune up. Clear California title in my name. This model is eligible for Giro events everywhere, s it's a 1957.
