That the 'dawn of motoring' took place in France is a fact where notmany people are

familiar with.

Motob?canewas aFrenchmanufacturer ofbicycles, opeds,motorcycles, nd other

small vehicles, stablished in 1922 and were thelargest manufacturer of motorcycles

in France.

The company started when Charles Benoit and Abel Bardin joined in 1922 todesign

their first motorcycle in1923, here already by 1930 Motobecane was producing

a best-selling range of motorcycles.

It has no relation to Motobecane USA, hich imports bicycles fromTaiwanmanufactured

to their specification byKenesis Industry Co. Ltd.under the Motob?canetrademark.

This 1936 B1V2 model has been unused for a longer period of time, ut after we'veput it in ourworkshop yesterday it fired up straight away andwas running really nice.
It still has the original frame-id plate on and both the frame- and engine-number are matching with the numbers that are on this.
The odometer-reading is 6077 km / 3784 mile, nly have no idea whether this is correct.Please note the little childrens-seat on top of the gas-tank and the original fin-tailed muffler (which has the original logo embossed).
This machine and comes with its French registration-document (that states that it was first road-registered on Jan 1st 1937) and an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.
-On this listing I’moffering a special (fully sealed) motorcycle crate, areful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS as close as possible to you at my expense, eaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. plus the ocean-freight charge, here you are responsible for all charges at your end, ike entry fees, ort, andling and eventually broker fees.If you want any additional information about this, lease ask before you place a bid.
Furthermore, hen you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, r want to recieve more information about this item, ust let me know.
I accept PayPal payments.-Additional information to this listing;
I only offer shipping by sea, here of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country. Like can be read in the link,this antique bikeis because of its age and displacement exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations;https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use
