1929 1930 1931 Henderson KJ Four Cylinder Antique Motorcycle Excelsior

1930 Henderson KJ motorcycle. This is a very solid project bike. Look closely at the pictures, ee for yourself. Motor is very complete, rankshaft, amshaft, lywheel and clutch plus the tranny shafts and gears are in the motor. Cases are in good condition, ome old minor repairs have been done. No major upper or lower case damage. The dash has the hard to get correct US Gauge ammeter and oil pressure gauge and the Corbin 100 MPH speedo. Speedo cable, ngle drive, ngle drive mounting bracket and ring gear are included. Front and rear hubs are complete with good quills, rake parts, procket. The rims are original and correct Excelsior Henderson and Cleveland style. Rear rim is excellent and the front rim has rust damage. An extra rim is included that is bent. Most of the control rods are there (missing the shift rod). Thebell crank and bracket are there. Intake manifold has the rocker and rocker pivot shafts and a nice aluminum cover. The intake has a mounting tab broken off. Gas tanks are good and include petcocks and caps. The correct Klaxon 11 horn and bracket are included. A nice reproduction headlight and brackets are included. Original foot boards and mats are there. Nice reproduction fenders, attery/tool box and chain guard. Light switch is a repop. What is missing? Seat and springs- front mount is there. Pushrods, arb and generator and some hardware. Much of the hardware on the bike is either good original or NOS from the old Triangle dealership inventory. The correct Bosch FF4 magneto has previously been rebuilt. The bike is only mocked up for these photos. I do not have a title for the bike. I have owned it for about 15 years, eality has set in that I will not get this restored myself. It is a great project bike that needs some love to get back on the road, aybe run in a Great Race or the Race of Gentlemen.Please take your time looking over the pictures and feel free to ask any questions about the bike or any arrangements.
