Boasting increased power versus the previous 150cc. the 3 valve also has better fuel economy (upto 100mpg) and reduced emissions. thanks to a simplified valve train. But the 946's innovations are not limited to the engine alone: The 946 offers Vespa's own ASR (loosely translated as Automatic Skid Reduction). a unique traction control system to prevent embarrassing moments on wet or dusty roads. The 946 also gets Vespa's Antilock Braking system to again allow for the smoothest possible ride.
