This Hirondelle (French for Swallow) was built by Manufacture Francaise d’Armes et Cycles de Saint-Etienne (MF/ManuFrance)Established in 1885, he gun-producer ManuFrance was France's first mail order company, ith a catalogue known as 'La Manu'.It offered a wide range of products, he most famous being guns, icycles and sewing machines.After WW2, he company introduced high quality motorcycles and scooters that could also be ordered out of their catalogue.These motorcycles and scooters were offered until 1954, s after then (because of production ended that year.
This rare 1952 Hirondelle twinport sport-model is a motorcycle that is also in Europehardly everonoffer.
The odometer-reading is 23599 km / 14694 mile, nly have no idea whether this is correct.In optical way the motorcycle looks very distinctive, hough the paint is old/not nice and clearlyshowing age and use.
It has been put in storage a number of years ago, nly in case you want to bring it back to the road again, he motorcycle needs to be checked through completely.
I had the engine running and it sounded ok, he gearbox is shifting fine through all gears.
This motorcycle comes with an official European Certificate of Origin which document will be issued in your name and states the make, odel, ear of manufacture, isplacement, eight etc, lus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fullyinsured for eventual damage/loss.
