1983 Maico Sand Spider 490. Race ready for the Vintage/Retro races. Not a garage queen, idden and raced weekly. Fresh rebuilt/revalved Ohlins rear shock by SRD. Updated modern spring/spacer installed and set up for a 185 lb intermediate rider, ront forks renovated and setup to match new rear suspension. PVL ignition with low end curve program. Extra set of wheels and fresh rebuilt rear installed. Fresh clutch assembly including new bearings/plates, xtra used spare clutch assembly to follow. Full assortment of parts/gearing for the racer. New cylinder liner to follow, urrent cylinder original bore. Bing rebuild kit just installed. Fresh swingarm bearings/spacers. I'm 61 years old and ready to move in to a different class for old farts! Bike was acquired in Sweden in 1984 and I brought it here in 2015. I hope it goes to a good home that will appreciate the potential of this beast that I've ridden for 32 years now, aybe they will grant me visiting privileges to say hello occasionally.
