1983 Maico Sand Spider 490, speed. Not a garage queen, his is a race bike ridden every week andsporting proud battle scars, icks, cratches. Excellent mechanical condition with meticulous maintenance. CompleteOhlins service and modified shaft, 2.5 kg spring with machined/powder coated spacer by Genesisand set up for 185lb Intermediate rider. Replaced swingarm and linkage bushings/bearings. Front fork rebuild/service and set up to match rear suspension. Fresh relaced rear wheel/hub/tire. IMS stainless wide pegs. PVL Ignition with low end power curve .Replaced clutch assembly completeincluded inner/outer hub, earing, ll plates and cable. In the process of installing a new fabricated aluminum brake pedal assembly with roller bearings. Fresh Bing rebuild kit installed.Runs strong & tight and ready to ride. California Green sticker and clear California Title/Documents. I brought this bike over from Sweden and reconstructed last winter. A little too much for a 61 year old man to handleanymore so I'm moving to another old farts race class and therefore selling my old reliable buddy of 32 years.
