Jawa 890 Speedway 500, Ex Ivan Mauger bike, 1975

Up for auction is our 1975/76 Jawa 890 2-valve, ormerly owned by 9 time World Champion and All Time Greats of Speedway, van Mauger. My understanding is this bike was given by Ivan, o his Barber, nd was on display at the Barber shop for some time. To my knowledge, t is one of only 3 bikes that Ivan either gave away or were on loan. He kept all his other bikes. I acquired it in a trade several years ago and have an e-mail from Ivan acknowledging that it was Indeed one of his. I repaired the front forks on the bike, he rest of it is unchanged. Here is a rare opportunity to own a bike that belonged to one of the Worlds All Time Great Speedway Champions. Don't miss out. These don't come along all the time. Included in the auction is a race Jacket that Ivan wore at a meeting in England. It is signed, ut the ink has faded over time.
