From the estate of aerospace engineer &clubracer David Molitor, nown for the careful preparation and meticulous care of his racing bikes. In road racing, olitor was a regular at Willow Springs Motorcycle Club events -- bothtrack days & races-- where he placed well in the Formula 50 class, ven winning on occasion.Remembering his friend in a Roadracing World obituary, eremy Toye said of Molitor, He would show up with an R1and an FZR1000, nd both of them were the cleanest bikes out there, ands down. The FZR looked like it rolled off a showroom floor." Molitor'sdirt trackers were equally well prepared, s shown in these recent photos of his Rotax 600, aced with the Southern California Flat Track Association. Bike is in running, ace-ready condition. The engine has low hours; in fact, he handlebar-mounted timer shows 0 hours, hough it's not known if that is correct. (KTM decals on gas tank, asily removed, re from another project.)
