Description

This is a 2008 VESPA 250GTS I, UPER SHOWROOM SHARP AND CLEAN.
This vehicle is in [ Zelienople Pa. ] about 24 miles North from Pittsburgh. At the price of $2750 I'm$600 below this bike's KELLY BLUE BOOK RATING of $3350 and I humbly suggest this is currently one of the best Vespa GTS250IE offers on the internet right at the moment ...
If the ad is here it's still unsold. All pics of bike are approx. 10 days old.
. And here's the truth of it ... If you are looking for a scooter in general, specially a Vespa250GTSie .... and if its low mileage, nd spotless sharp newness that beats even a bike off the showroom floor is your mental 'trigger' .... then to come here in person is a guaranteed sale for me .. you WILL buy it and I challange you to keep looking for any listing that beats this bike, his look, his mileage, nd especially this price ! In fact I'm amazed a Vespa dealer hasn't snatched this up already ... showcase it on the floor with a few velvet ropes and make over $900 profit for doing absolutely nothing !
Shipping is totally your responsibility. Load it up or drive it away.Mike: show contact info
I returned to Pa. from California in 2008 and bought this Vespa brand new upon arriving here.
I got spoiled on my Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad dresser by good California roads and the long days of warmth, ecause a problem here in Pennsylvania is that a warm biking season for a skinny 70 year old man is only a short four months.
As each winter approaches I pretty much keep it in my son's heated basement and use a thermal riding suit to ride and keep the bike lubed, he gasoline fresh, iled plugs, he tires round, nd the bike 'wet' with operational normalcy.
Take me seriously, ou will really need to see it in person.
Part of the fun of motorcycles/scooters to me over the years is the tinkering to perfectionism ... If a tail light lens for example got a crack or scratch on a planned riding day, ou could count me out of that day's riding as I'd spend the time finding a new lens, raveling to whoever has one, nstalling it, tc
This bike has always received that type of care ... the complete'needs nothing' look is important to me.
I hated going to see bikes in the past when the seller immediately starts 'preparing' me with : "Oh it's got a few small dings and scratches but after all it IS a blah blah blah .... (How the hell DO THEY get those dings and scratches in the craziest places like the top curve of a fender or the rear or front part of a gas tank anyway ??? )
Those are simply CRAP EXCUSES to me. they should have immediately fixed it as they went, ainted it, uffed it out, eplaced it, r did as I do, ABY THE BIKE to a point that the bike LITERALLY had no possible way to get jenky looking to begin with !
My Vespa is slightly larger than any other because the last few atoms of bike surface is really auto wax and Pledge lol !!!
6075 miles is all that is on the odometer but that changes as I wait for a buyer. Probably will go to no more than 6300 while I'm waiting.
INCLUDES:
1. Vespa brand internal and viciously loud alarm option installed with the dash operated key or the included remote transmitter. Constant red flashing dash light when in operation as a warning.
2. Rear locking travel and hotel tail trunk with working red led tail light. The LEDS simply refuse to show up properly in the camera pics. They are not the little yellow dots that the camera has changed them to.
Trunk holds two full sized helmets plus jackets and more. Since I don't have a need to take the trunk off of the bike, asy on/off wire connector terminals have not been applied. Take 60 seconds to add them at the wire exit hole inside the case and the case slides right of its click in track and star lock turn handle for luggage carry in.
3. 99% (but not all ) of the beauty chrome strips and chrome 'rivets' come right off leaving no marks for you purists who like 'plain vanilla'. A very active grandchild with an open bottle of crazy glue produced a need to do 2 concealment additions, ol !
The trunk rivets are snap off and you can remove the chrome covers and snap in black ones to the screwed in cap receivers for a completely different look. The chrome and black caps and receiver kits are primarily an Advance Auto item. All chrome stripping easily removes from trunk and all body areas of the bike mar free.
4. The expensive and hard to find popular DARK TINT ITALIAN FACO GTS flyscreen was installed yesterday and has replaced the screen shown in the pics.
All 5,000 mile oil, oolant, nd brake fluid top ups have been completed
$ 2750 firm ...... The BLUE BOOK RETAIL OR STREET PRICE at the required quality level of EXCELLENT and for mileage up to 13,000 is $3350 ... for a rapid sale I'm $ 600 below Kelly Blue Book at this selling offer. I need storage room and I need it quickly before winter.
GPS in the pics is NOT INCLUDEDNO CHECKS, ONEY ORDERS, R CASHIERS CHECK. CASH IN HAND ONLY.
