Like the pictures are showing this rare fire resque motorcycle is after 64yearsstill in a fairly decent condition.
Before it landed in a collection antique utility motorcycles, his machine has beenin service at a small local French airfield (probably Chateauroux like indicated bythe area-code 36).In France motorcycles were popular back in the days as fire resque vehicles at small air fields, s they could be acquired for decent money, ere easy to maintain, ut also being fast and when equipped with the right gear, ery suited for killing fairly small fires.
The 125 sidevalve engine starts at first kick and is running fine, he gearbox is shifting without any problem and all gears are present. The odometer reads 10777 km (6710 mile) only I don't have any history to proof whether this is right (or not). Also please note the small clutch pedal on the lh side of the engine, he clutch can be operated both by foot or hand.
Thepaint is showing traces of age and use (patina) andthe inside of the gas-tank is nice and clean, hus not rusted.
For legal reasons the blue fash light and sirens are not connected anymore.
This motorcycle comes with an official European Certificate of Origin which document will be issued in your name and states the make, odel, ear of manufacture, isplacement, eight etc, lus an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.
