Here for sale is abeautiful BridgestoneHurricane 175, his bike was a perfectcandidate for restoration being a low milage complete motorcycle. It took me over ayear to do therestoration work on this bike, ith no bolt left untouched! This motorcycle has won awards in our local vintage motorcycle group and is a true head turner everywhere it goes, f youwant a motorcycle that draws crowds at events this is the one! The only reasonI've decided to part ways with this motorcycle is becausesince itsrestoration it has just sat in the garage and collected dust because I haven't had the time to go out and enjoy this beauty as much as it deserves. This Bike is being sold as is with no warranty, uyer isresponsible for shippingarrangements but I am able to store the motorcycle for some time if needed.
Mechanically:This bike runsand ridesfantastic with no issues, t has a many newparts to make it as reliable as it was back in the day, pon restoration of this motorcycle the motor wasdisassembled and inspected to make sure there were no issues, ll bearings andclearances were checked to make sure everything was in its proper place. The Chrome Cylinders were in excellent condition along with the pistons when the cylinders were inspected for any chipping or lose debris, his bike has never had an port work done to it and remains in theoriginal condition. While the engine wasdisassembled the cases wherecleaned to barealuminum like they wherefrom thefactory, long with the silversouter casings being bead blasted of all there old flaked paint and resprayed with a color match silver. The Carburators have been gone through and cleaned along with new jets,Needleandseats installed. The Oil injectionsystems has been tested beforereassembly to insure it worked andwouldn't burn the motor up upon first start up. The wholeelectrical system has been gone through and or replaced with OEM pieces. This Bike has had countless hours invested into it to make sure it wasreassembled in thecorrect way to insure the restoration was done correctly.
Paint/Chrome:This motorcycle has over $2200worth of chrome plating done to it and only the best was used when everything was being re-chromed, he local plater is Whitworx Chrome and it took over 2 months for the chrome work to befinished alone. Once the chrome work wasfinished the tank was masked down and beadblasted lightly to rough the area that the paint wouldadhere to, ust to insure that there would be no issueswith the paint flaking off at a later date. All of the pieces that did not have chrome and paint on them werebead blasted down to bear metal and repainted to the color match red paint from our local automotive paint supplier. Once the paint was dry and ready for re-installation all new badges where obtained and put back into thereoriginal locations on the bike. The Frame, riple tree, swing arm, ickstand, nd center stand was alsosandblasted down to bear metal and sports a new coat of black to match what it had from the factory.
This Motorcycle has to many new OEM parts to list, he only thing that i can think of that is notoriginally to the bike is the battery, ires ( frontand rear ), nd rims. Themotorcycle does still use itsoriginal key and it works on both the front fork lock and theignition. If you have any questions aboutthis motorcycle please feel free to contact me and i will answer them as fast as I can. This bike is being sold with a reserve but is much less than what i have in the motorcycle inparts alone. Happy Bidding!
