Yamaha XS1100 Trike

Hi all

Up for sale is my trike the "Black Dog". I have had this trike for 4 years and have to say I have had great pleasure out of it. However. personal circumstances and lack of space mean that all my toys now have to go.

The trike is based on a Yamaha XS1100. oldie but goldie. Like all japanesse bikes it starts when you ask and it goes. However. unlike the modern bikes this one has character by the bucketfull. When you get above 3000rpm the engine barks at you and the noise is out of this world. Torque is there in plenty and when you open the throttle it pulls and pulls and just keeps pulling.

It as the the XS clunk into 1st gear but it shows no problems in any of the gears. The trike is fitted with a 4 into 2 exhaust system bought in from the USA.

In my 4 years of owning the trike I have to say I have enjoyed every mile I have ridden.

The 1st pictures show the trike has it is today. the last 2 pictures show the trike has I got it. The seat and tank shown in the last 2 pictures are on the trike at the moment ( personal choice ) but the tank and seat shown in the other pictures are avalible if required.

The trike is taxed and mot'ed and is running. so can be ridden away.

As stated I need to get rid of my toys but having said that I am looking for an old Disco. poss  px.
