Electric Motorcycle project as shown in the pics.
The chassis is an unused Yamaha YBR250 with new Pirelli sport Demon tyres. the motor and speed controler is made by Gravitron and powered by 4x 12v batteries (48v). I believe it could also be used with 5 batteries (60v) (you could fit the fifth in a top box perhaps?)
The batteries are untested Exide Maxxima's
A large 70 Tooth billet sprocket has been fitted. the electric motor is fitted on custom billet mount as shown.
The electric motor was removed from a Gravitron G60 electric kart that were around £6000 when new. Harrods also sold them and the kart manufacturer stated 0-60 times of 3. 2 seconds and speeds of 100mph. please Google this kart for motor spec etc. nbsp; lots of info on these available. the motor plates states 66hp at 60v so plenty of potential I guess.
An large red emergency stop button and dial type speed selector (that are not shown) are also included plus a wall mounted battery charger (about £500 new) complete with fork truck type electrical plug and socket.
Most of the hard work has been done as you can see and no extra welding has been done on the frame. it all looks oem.
A Bagster tank cover is also included to cover the tank batteries.
Bike is unregistered so No V5C but can easily be registered when completed.
All this lot would cost £1000s. you could not buy the parts for the asking price - that's if you can find them.
Selling this as spares or repair due to it being an unfinished project.
Would consider a swap through Ebay adhering to Ebay's rules. "you buy mine I buy yours" I am interested motorcycles karts etc. let me know if you have anything listed on Ebay that I may be interested in. we can buy each others item eh.
Collection from Swadlincote in Derbyshire. cash preferred. within 1 week please.
