Jap speedway bike Hart Jap motorcyle vintage classic dirt track

JAP engine which has been professionally rebuilt. with many new parts fitted(see list below) fitted in an Oliver Hart frame. The frame has been bead blasted and repainted.

Many parts have been rechromed.       Many new parts have been fitted including wheel rims. yres. clutch plates. etc.

 The engine has not been started since the rebuild to prevent leaving a trail of oil from the discharge valves. as this may be inconvenient if the bike is to be exhibited.

 If the bike is required for demonstration

 events the the engine is ready to start as it has been rebuilt to racing standards. The carb may need some fine adjustments. but it is probably ok in its present settings.

Using any available photographs and information the bike has been assembled 

as near as possible to the spec. which would have been used by Oliver Hart.

  (Magneto serviced remagnetised and tested)

  The engine was originally a long 5 stud model. but has at some time been modified to short 4 stud spec.
