Huoniao HN125-8 Learner Legal Cruiser

Here is my little 125 Chinese bike. a Huoniao. I got this bike brand new 2 years ago after passing my CBT. It's never missed a beat. Runs really well. starts first time (sometimes needs the choke on colder days). Because it's new. it still has a year till it's first MOT. Tax is about to run out but I will renew that. It is a great bike. I will be sad to see her go but I have passed my full test and am getting a big bike which forces the sale. I will be using her still until my new bike arrives so the mileage will creep up slightly but not significantly. Ok. let's go through some negatives. Chinese chrome isn't great. there are some rust patches here and there but nothing serious. There is a slight mark on the tank and battery cover too from when she fell over in very heavy wind while parked. I've tried to get all this in pictures. The rack is probably the worst but still not awful. Has a slightly squeaky rear break. annoying but if you hold the brake on for the first 30 seconds of the ride. t warms the brakes up and tends to stop them squeaking. I have had them checked and been assured there is nothing wrong with them. The counter is in KM. so the mileage is 4875. Speedo does have MPH but it's smaller. takes some getting used to. Positives. She really is a great ride. nippy for a 125 cruiser and handles surprisingly well. Just had a new rear tyre fitted. plenty of tread left on the front.  I fitted some custom powder coated indicators which look really nice and work brilliantly. As I said. MOT isn't for another year. I will renew tax as soon as I get a reminder letter. She's been serviced regularly. I've kept the chain oiled and adjusted. Also changed the oil a few times. Had the Chinese spark plug replaced within first month of owning her. Gets used everyday so even though mileage is low. can be assured the engine runs smooth. Really cheap insurance and tax. £15 will fill the tank and that will last me about 2 weeks (obviously depends how far you ride). Really cheap to keep on the road. So yeah I think that's everything.
