SUPERBYKE RMM 50CC

This is my sons Motorbike which has an electrical fault probably something simple but not really into electrics so havnt even a clue where to start looking. The exhaust is blowing where the silencer meets the down pipe. Apart from these two minor problems the bike ran great but is now a none starter because of the electric problem. It has been kept indoors since it was sorn last year so when started and electrics sorted it should fly through an MOT. Ive tried to be as honest as possible and timewasters are not needed.
