2002 Simson SD 50 SD50 Albatross, MZ, S51, S53, Schwalbe, Spatz

I have decided to sell my collection of VERY rare Simson scooters to help fund another project. This scooter up for auction is the SD50 Albatross. with aluminum box. E-start. and 92Km. YES 92Km. This scooter is rare in Germany. often selling upwards of $5000 American there. I highly doubt if there is one in the states. It is in excellent condition. the only thing that has been changed is the oil and battery (new this spring). I have used this scooter very little on nice days to run to the store. where it always strikes up conversation. It runs. shifts through its 4 gears and all electrical works as it should. The clutch is nice and tight with no slipping. the tires are in excellent shape. The seat does have some very small marks in it. Everything is just as it should be with 92Km.

This scooter is a piece of history. It is one of the last built at the Suhl Simson factory. Simson produced armory. guns. cars. motorcycles  and scooters there since the mid 1800s. The Suhl factory finally shut its doors in 2002. They simply could not compete with the inferior Asain Brands.

I have 3 other Simsons I will be selling.

The Yellow  2002 . 010 SC is the same as the S53 Fighter 50. 50 cc 4 speed. nbsp;it has 10Km on it.

The Blue/ aqau is a  2002 Star 80.  80cc with a 4 speed. 10 Km

The Green 2002 MSA Spatz is a 50cc with electric start and an automatic transmission. 13 Km

All scooters run and look as they should with thier SUPER LOW Kilometers and age.
