SWM Trials Bike, 1980.

A twin-shock SWM trials bike believed to be of 1980 vintage. but of an unusual colour scheme for that period. so cannot guarantee that date or even if it is a TL320. but that it what my investigations have so far led me to believe.  Please confirm those details yourself if they are important to you - I won't accept a return if those details are indeed incorrect as they are on best efforts. I bought this about 20 years ago to teach my sons to ride motorcycles. but it has been unused and garaged most of the time since then.  I did start it about 3 years ago. but have not started it since. so cannot vouch for the engine's viability. especially in the area of crank seals. so sold as a non-runner. for spares or repair.  The fork tubes are showing a little pitting. but not bad yet (see pictures of both lower and upper parts of tubes).  There is no side stand. but I don't know if it ever had one.  The kickstart detent ball/spring appears to be missing as it flops down too easily.  The left hand kickstart takes a little getting used to.  There is sign of over-swing on the kickstart - denting the case by the kickstart lever is evident.  The front mudguard plastic is brittle and the flared tail end has broken off.  Tyres are old but reasonable tread depth.  For its year it is in generally good condition and would make a great project twin-shock trial bike. Please ask any questions if they will help clarify any dating or identification matters. Sorry. I cannot deliver. so the winner will have to collect from Ramsgate. Kent.
