2002 BETA ALP 4T-200 TRAIL BIKE

Here we have my Alp for sale which I have owned since 2008. I bought it off a local lady owner who had only used it once and since then I have never used it as a road or commuter bike. only as a LDT [long distance trial] bike. about 6 times per year. This is the perfect bike for trail or LDT use due to its light weight. reliability and excellent steering lock. The bike is in good visual condition. and has the expected marks and scuffs on the bodywork as is bound to happen with offroad use. Nothing serious though. and no dents or tears. Mechanically. the bike is perfect and ready to go. with its bulletproof Suzuki DR200 engine. Electric start with new battery recently and manual kickstart too. Last used in May after which engine oil and filter was changed. Recent new brake pads and wheel bearings too. Its in trials trim with trials tyres and lowered gearing. but I have all the original road trim parts available [mirrors. indicators. road gearing sprocket etc]. Its fitted with a rear fender bag for tools and a handlebar mounted route map holder/reader.  I now have a Sherco X ride for LDT use. so the Alp can go. This bike should prove to be perfectly reliable for its next owner and requires no work other than the next sentence. As you can see by the photo of the 2009 tax disc. I don't concern myself with tax discs [or MOT's]. I've got too many vehicles to tax them all! So the bike has never been MOT'd since I've owned it but there is no reason why it wont pass one. Also. the speedo cable broke last year. so the mileage of 4500Kms is about 400 shy of reality. I could fit a cable and MOT the bike. and then it will be worth about £1250. but I've decided to advertise it as it is. with a realistic start price and no reserve.
