1971 Penton 125 Six Days

Pristine 1971  Penton Six days 125.    The motor. Sachs 125/A  Serial number 6554727. has been completely rebuilt. top and bottom. including new crank pin and bearings. shifting mechanism . gearsand Mahle First over piston.    I found this bike in a basement of a friend in completely original condition and  partially disassembled.   I guessing it was parked there after it had caught fire.    Paint on tank and side panels is ORIGINAL.   I restored the frame and painted it with marine epoxy paint.    I had planned to race this bike in AHRMA XC races but at my size the bike cant carry me. It has less than one hour on complete rebulild

There is some scuffing on the under side of the tank on the right side from the fire damage that's all.   tank DID NOT leak before reassembly and has been sealed with Caswell.    Look carefully at all of the original items that you do not find on lesser bikes that sell for ridiculous money. Original Magura Levers and covers. bing carb with choke and cable. ORIGINAL BULLET HEADLIGHT. which I am told is worth @ 500 all by itself. VDO speedometer ORIGINAL PIPE w SILENCER fork brace. nbsp;leather tank strap and tool bag.  New Seat cover. carb boot. air filter. fork seals. pipe mounts and Aluminum Front Fender I wish I had kept a list as I know I am forgetting stuff all purchased from Buehner's Supply in Ohio.   All parts taken from motor are included and I have some extra parts. ngine side covers. electrical. carb along with all special tools and repair manuals

Upon sale I will be keeping the Preston Petty number plate and light.   The only thing between you and complete showroom bike is one headlight mount. speedo drive and cable if you wish to have that.   Of course bike starts on first kick an rides like a new one because it is.
