1985 TOMOS CLASSIC SCOOTER MOPED 50 ONLY 2 FORMER KEEPERS

Just in. a desirable classic 1985 Thomas moped. only 2 former keepers and only just over 2. 00 miles showing on the clock which although i cannot back up may be accurate as the bike was last taxed in 1989 so it was only on the road for the first 4 years of it's life. Pretty reasonable looker with good compression. Not used for 24 years and apparently the carb slide was used on another bike so you will need a new one but i am sure you will be able to pick up a carb for a few pounds. Exhaust is ok and i bet it is still on it's original tyres. the bike is not rusted out and even the seat is ok. I have just spent the weekend at two auto jumbles and I spotted a couple of these for sale in far worse condition and they were priced around the £400 mark so mine must be a real bargain at only £199. The V5 log book has been misplaced but I entered it's details when listing on ebay and it linked to DVLA and it's details came up so it is still on their system. These are great for the camper brigade as they are light with no silly flimsy plastic panels to crack. also better than the earlier models that were pedal start. this has a proper kick starter. Come and have a look with pleasure. About my  business in motorcycles.  I specialise in classic and used machine projects as you will see if you look at the items i usually have for sale. often ones that have not been used for years. when i get them in i give them a look over. describe them as i see them and list them on ebay. I don't work on them to prepare them for retail sale and use. basically i just don't have the time and you buy them as they are. described to the best of my ability. and you are welcome to bring a mechanic to check over and that is the reason i can sell them at such bargain prices. As you would expect with used machines. nbsp;unless i can prove with appropriate paperwork. i never guarantee mileages.
